Musaica Imports specially selects these instruments for the advancing student and serious amateur. They all feature straight grained spruce tops complimented by handsomely flamed maple back sides and scroll. They are hand carved from 15-20 year old wood and finished in northern China with special attention given to slim neck profiles and excellent tonal qualities. The hand finished shaded or antiqued varnish give these instruments a striking appearance. Each cello can be carefully set up for a reasonable additional charge at our shop with fine fittings and professional level strings such as Dominant, Larsen, Helicore or Spirocore.
