It is hand carved in Northern China under close supervision by a top master maker with exquisite care and varnished with an attractive brown gold varnish that is sensitively antiqued. The set up, if chosen up on this viola has Aubert Luxe or Despiau three tree bridge, Obligato, Larsen, or Evah Pirazzi strings with elegant fittings. The result is spectacular!
